Many people aren’t supportive of young marriages because they believe you haven’t lived your life yet, or it’s no reason to rush. Being married doesn’t put a pause on your life, and that’s what people fail to realize. It allows you to grow and not only do you grow as a person but you grow as one. It allows you make mistakes and learn from them. The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) married Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) when she was six years old and the marriage was consummated when she was nine years old. “A woman may be married for four things: her wealth, her lineage, her beauty and her religious commitment. Seek the one who is religiously-committed, may your hands be rubbed with dust Sahih Al-Bukhaari (4802) and Sahih muslim (1466)
